JAG Youth put towards a goal of $1,500 Dollars to support a missionary. We have almost $200 already, but your student has a great opportunity to bake a dessert to earn money during the Speed the Light Dessert Auction. We need as many students as possible to bake desserts for the auction so we can get the gospel all over the world. Just sign up at the link below with what your student(s) would like to make, bring it Sunday morning on November 22, to the youth building and stay to display it to be sold during the Thanksgiving dinner. We believe in missions and we believe in your students, so let's bring the two together.

See You At The Pole is an opportunity for students all around the nation to pray for their mission field known as their school campus. JAG and other churches from around the area will bring donuts and juice to Jones Middle School and Jones High School to See You At The Pole and also pray for the students. So, if you are a student or know a student at any school, encourage them to show up to school early and pray for their school and the academic year. It is an incredible opportunity to do so!
Do you play an instrument? Do you sing for a club or a choir? Do you like being behind the scenes helping with lights, music, and computers? We want you then! God created us to worship and we want to make sure the next generation has a chance to connect to their Creator and glorify Him with the giftings and talents that He has given them. So JAG Youth is having a Worship Team interest meeting September 16 after youth service is finished. Pastor Stephanie will be going over what being in the worship team includes and then give follow up dates for auditions and when practices will start.
JAG Youth is having a BACK TO SCHOOL BASH! There will be slip and slide kickball, snow cones and over 2,000 water balloons for a good ole fashioned water balloon fight! Just make sure that you show up to the Family Life Center around 6:00 pm and have fun! There will be NO formal normal service like normal, just a fun night of fellowship and fun!
Are you ready to take the next steps in your relationship in Christ by publicly proclaiming your faith through water baptism? Are you ready to reenact the a covenant with the Lord? Maybe it’s just time for you to come back to God. Either way, we want to provide any student who would like to be baptized the opportunity after our youth service on May 27. There is a sign up sheet in the lobby.
If you have any questions about baptism or anything related to it, see one of our staff pastors for more information.
